The iron railing I built for this house took me 102 hours to complete. All the scroll work was hand forged.
One obstacle was meeting the building code which demands no opening bigger than a 4 inch circle be
found anywhere in the railing. The man in the picture is the carpenter who built the stair case. He is very
precise.
